About Us

Financial Fortunes started with a simple realization: most of us were learning about money through mistakes, not lessons. As Junior Achievement students attending an online school, our team works virtually with classmates from across the state, bringing together different experiences and perspectives with money. Hearing those differences made us realize that while everyone’s situation is unique, the lack of early financial education is something we all share. That insight led us to create Financial Fortunes, a card game that turns real-life money choices into something fun, interactive, and easy to understand. By learning through play, kids can practice budgeting, saving, and decision-making in a low-stress way so when real financial decisions come up, they feel prepared, not overwhelmed.
